Dunbar High School Chorus
This album features the excellent Dunbar Choruses that performed from 1948 to 1970. The album also include chorus music from the 1968 RCA album. Videos of the Dunbar Choirs that performed at the
2013, 2016, 2019 All-Dunbar Reunions are also included.
Music and Dance Bands
This album features music groups and dance bands that consisted of DHS students. They
performed at school events, proms and dances at numerous venues. The students
received excellent training from the choral and band directors.
Dr. Augustus Lushington
The country's first Black veterinarian, Augustus Nathaniel Lushington received a historical marker in his name Saturday April 10, 2021 and the unveiling took place at Fifth Street Baptist Church at 1007 5th
Street.
